Day 314
Christmas Eve in Paris.
Cocktails at the George V hotel.
May not be able to download images.....
It's still priceless.
Make it simple.
Make it memorable.
Make it inviting to look at.
Make it fun to read.

EGG ROLLS
I love finger foods.
Bite size, packed with flavor, room for dessert!
First attempt with shredded pork in egg roll wrappers.
The coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in San Francisco.

We have to believe in free will. We’ve got no other choice.
Issac Bashevis Singer
It is our farewell performance, and I hope the first of many.

Day 297
Always make extra pasta to warm up for a quick lunch or snack
PROSCIUTTO PASTA
Heat Olive Oil and Butter in large pan
Toss in cooked Rigatoni
Shred Prosciutto over pasta - add twice as much as you think - it shrinks
Pour in a splash of White Wine
Sprinkle in some fresh Thyme
Finish with a handful or two of freshly grated Parmesan/Romano cheese
Garlic can always be added in the beginning - I was out
Toss with a little Salt and fresh ground Pepper
Perfect!

CRANBERRY RELISH
This is one of my favorite things about the holidays.
Perhaps because I grew up in Massachusetts.
Take one bag fresh Cranberries - rinsed
Throw in food processor with 5-6 chopped Oranges
with rind but no seeds
I add 2-3 tablespoons chopped fresh Ginger
Pulse until chunky
Add at least 1/2 cup Sugar
Until the perfect combination of sweet/tart is achieved
Chill and eat
