Another yummy from our English girlfriend Nigella Lawson.
It's not a wonder she is so Reubenesque!
DONUT FRENCH TOAST
2 Eggs
1/2 cup Milk
4 teaspoons Vanilla extract
4 slices white Bread
Butter for frying
1/4 cup Sugar
Beat eggs with milk and vanilla in shallow bowl
Soak the bread in the egg mixture
Heat butter in pan and fry the bread
Make certain you cook it long enough so the center gets cooked
Dredge the cooked bread in the sugar until coated like a donut
