As the sun sets earlier
and the darkness brings a little chill to your evening,
warm up with this......
HOT BUTTERED RUM
Butter - 1 cup softened
Brown sugar - 1 cup packed
Powdered sugar - 1/2 cup sifted
Nutmeg and Cinnamon - 1 teaspoon ground each
Ice cream - 2 cups softened
Rum
Water
Nutmeg
Beat together butter, sugars and spices
Add ice cream
Freeze in covered container
Place 2 huge tablespoons of the ice cream mix in a mug
Add 1 jigger of rum
Fill with boiling water
Stir well
Grate nutmeg on top
Too yummy!!!!
